April 14, 1912 Rose’s stateroom sundown

After that magical moment outside, the three of us went back to Rose’s stateroom. I never spent this much time in this part of the room. It does feel like an aristocratic room with red, maroon colors all around, very expensive lamps and chandeliers. “Is this enough light,” Rose asked.

“what,” Jack said.

“Don’t artists need good light,” mom wonders.

“Well it’s true but not in this horrible condition,” dad responded in a weird French accent.

Mom and I chuckled.

“I think this’ll do. This should be called a drawing room instead of a sitting room,” I responded while looking at the architecture.

“Monet,” Jack exclaimed as he walked over to the lily pad painting. The two of them starts talking about Monet and the textures he used in this particular painting.

After bonding over some paintings, Rose pulls out the Heart of the Ocean and hands it to the both of us.

“Looks nice. What is it, sapphire,” Jack asks before handing the necklace to me.

“A diamond, a very rare diamond,” mom responded as I looked at it close up.

“Wow, this is really pretty,” I exclaimed.

While looking at the diamond, mom asks dad one request: to draw her like one of dad’s French girls wearing nothing but the diamond…ok then.

I actually had the replica of the heart of the ocean. And this is perfect, especially the daughter being there. #drawmelikeoneofyourfrenchgirls #heartoftheocean #ellisadawson #roseandjack #excuseme😳

I decided to not draw mom naked, let alone see dad draw her naked. So I went outside on the veranda and start drawing. It’s getting colder and colder but I don’t care. Back home, we’ve had some harsh winters so I can deal with this. But as human, it’s tough to bear it. The concentration of each detail and the waves crashing makes me forget the thought that I was cold.

Mom’s cabin, evening

After dad and I got done with our drawings, we opened up the windows on the veranda as we waited for mom to get dressed from her nude drawing session with dad. Personally, I’d love to have a cup of coffee or tea to get warm. Jack and I had the same idea: let’s go inside. Once we got inside, mom came out with this beautiful dress in watercolor pastel colors and a light material that’ll flow in the wind.

“You look nice,” Jack pointed out

I want that dress, I thought to myself.

We heard a knock on the door, Rose grabbed my dad’s hand and Jack grabbed my hand out of the stateroom out back. As we were walking down the hallway, we turned to see Lovejoy following us and that’s when Rose instructed us to bolt. We ran left, right, down the elevator, flipping him off, and into a corner to catch our breath.

“Pretty tough for a valet this fellow,” dad exclaimed. “He’s more like a cop!”

“I think he was,” Rose responded before telling us the connection Hockley has with him.

The big three, Rose, Jack, and Ellis are on the run from Lovejoy! Ellis discovery is the backstory of Hackley and Lovejoy #ellisadawson #jackandrose #titanic #runningaway #belowdecks

Just as my parents start to get cozy, Lovejoy caught up to us and we eventually fled. We fled left, right, stuck in a loud room and then down in the boiler rooms where a chap tells us to get lost. I ran ahead so I don’t get caught in mom’s dress.

We eventually got into a storage room where all the cargo and cars are stored. Jack lets me know where he and Rose will be: the automobile with the rose inside. My best guess is this is were I was conceived, a peace in the chaos, a moment to be together as the two were quickly falling in love before the iceberg hits and before more chaos arise. I stayed far away from the moaning and groaning and the rocking of the car, I just want them to have their time alone without me being awkward standing there.

Once they get their clothes back on, some security people started catching up to us and yet again, we outsmarted them and by the time we got on the upper decks, we just burst out laughing by how much we outsmarted these guys. And then a moment of silence…

“When the ship docks, I’m getting off with you,” Rose stated as she puts her fingers on Jack’s lips.

“Where will y’all go,” I asked.

“I don’t know Ellis! But I trust the process,” Rose laughed

“Maybe take her to Chippewa Falls,” I asked Jack.

“That doesn’t sound like a bad idea,” he agreed before kissing mom.

Geez! These two can’t stop kissing one another. Blech! My fault!

As I was looking up at the stars with my hands in my pockets, there was alot of shouting near the bow. What’s going on, I asked myself.

Just as was about to walk over to the starboard railing CRASH! We hit it! The collision caused me to almost lose my balance due to the earthquake-like shake. It was enough to stop my parents from making out. Then we looked at each other, wondering what has happened, and I have a bad feeling we are doomed.
