Nicole Wangler

Nicole Wangler, daughter of Nigeria and Backscatter author Tom Wangler, was born and raised in the central region of Oregon. A graduate of Bend Senior high as well as Portland State University with a BA degree in arts and letters with a film minor. 

Along with picking up different jobs to keep herself a float, she dabbled in writing and acting. She has made cameo appearances in TV and movies such as Flash before the Bang and an episode of Criminal starting Emilia Clarke and Luke Evans. Like her father, she has written her own stories of fiction on her blog site as well as personal stories. Her most notable work is Titanic: the diary of Ellis Dawson and its sequel Pearl Harbor: the diary of Ellis Dawson. Inspired by her father, she started working on her own novel centered around the events of 9/11 as well as cowriting on her father’s third novel Shiloh

Outside of acting, she is engaged to be married by July 2026 and is involved in her ministry with the Jehovah’s Witnesses with the hopes of being baptized by May of 2026
